My Way

After doing a class with Finibar in early March this year, I realy wanted to make a page using her technique, but make it my own.
so before adhering it together I sprayed the background card stock and the embellishments with Glimmer-mist and etc. I have become very fond of the filigree brass embellishments and am gathering a nice collection.

 The papers I used are

Dream Believe P6338

Summers's Dance P6337

Dome

Have been looking forward to sharing this project, but first I must tell the story behind it.
One day earlier in the year, I walked into the shop Seriously Scrapbooking, whilst Jane was teaching a class. previous she had told me about an idea she had about a project to be covered by a cloche which she had sitting on the table, I took one look at the cloche and wanted one. After seeing her idea come to life in the class I begged her for the base, so I could create my own version using the papers from Meg's garden.
All though mine looks different because of the papers, it is still the concept of Jane's and I have enjoyed using her base and the Imaginarium chipboard through out.
Here is a link to Jane's class a Victorian Dome here
as she is still teaching classes on it I have decided to share mine as a project in progress so about once a month I will share the progression of my cloche the pleasurable thing is, I keep adding to it so mine is not quiet finished yet either.

Easel Time

Good Morning how quickly the weeks are  flying by, its was my turn to post again over at Imaginarium Designs .
Today I have two easel cards to share a little similar in style but still very different, using one of my favourite piece's of chipboard, as well as an attempt at a masculine page as well.

this card I taught just recently at Serious Scrapbooking

I have embossed the edge of the chipboard with embossing powder a couple of times to achieve the end result on the clocks

I will admit that masculine pages and cards are not my thing.

I have used to create my cards and page,  Imaginarium chipboard and papers from Meg's Garden

My First Time

First Time Over at Imaginarium Designs
I have been invited to join the Design Team over at Imaginarium Designs I happily accepted
Unfortunately I only had one thing to share, as it all happened so quickly.
As I have a passion for vintage, my project I tried to simulate Shabby Chic on the clock with multiple layers of  Embossing powders, on my favorite Chippy "Clock without a face"
The base of my project has the clock on the bottom adhered with two chipboard circles underneath a piece of square chipboard to hold it all together on the top Surrounded by flowers cut from Rose collage paper from Meg's Garden.

I designed it to sit in my Glass Cloche

some I prepared earlier in July 2011  Here  am getting a collection of Cloche's now as I am working on one at the moment which I am looking forward to being able to share once it is finished stay tuned

Over at Meg's Garden, Meg has posted some cards I have made using the Ode to Summer Collection although we are in Autumn we now are having a well earned cool change, I think these cards bring back the warmth of summer

I like to try and include the inside of the card in my design as it give it balance and dimension.

Its probably about time I moved on to my study about now as I seem to be a little behind.
Hopefully it want be so long between posts next time

End of summer

Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month, I received that today from one of the residents at work today, all in fun of course and may have to duck next month with her.
well as time again has gone quick and I have not posted for a while, I thought I might put up a gift I made on behalf of my friend for her valentine and a card I made about the same time, the scene was a painting I did, then scanned it and reprinted it off.
The papers are from the Forget Me Not collection

Well off to get ready for tomorrow's class, and with any luck I might get to play with my copics

Sending some love

Happy Valentines Day
Today I thought I would share a card with a little bit of a love theme,

I have recently taken inspiration from Debbie Dolphin on a card and started playing around with embossing powders, but unfortunately because of my over powerful heat gun have had to change the technique. I really should invest in a soft heat gun,  but sometimes problems can became a solutions.

have used German Glass from Meg's Garden

A shaker card

I made this card for a friend for her man I told her Masculine cards are hard for me to achieve
