Tis the Season to be Jolly

Hello again hope every one had a lovely Christmas
and are ready to celebrate the New Year with style.
So many exciting things to look forward too in the New Year.
Today I am pleased to share, what I have created with my new collection
Enchanted Tea Party, a layout and a card.
Again lots of fussy cutting with this layout and die cutting as well, my two favorite things, layered around a piece of Imaginarium Chipboard.

The dies I have used for the page are
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Ooh La La Ornate Entrance set

I have used paper from  the 6x6 paper pad for this card layered with these dies
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Invitation set
 Enchanted Tea Party bouquet

I have used Couture creations Delicate Medlar card stock for this card it is a versatile colour
I have inked a little around the edge of the tea pot  and the tags
placed a piece of foam tape in the center of the pot for dimension.
Cut two of the bouquet from delicate medlar and one in ivory.
A rather quick and simple card

Hope this has given you some more inspiration to use this cheerful collection

Would like to wish everyone a Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year.

Twas the day before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas
the table is set, ready for some sweet treats.
Ginger bread biscuits are iced, ready for eating
 The the tea is steeping,
whilst the cat lay sleeping.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her "kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

I am pleased to have the opportunity on Christmas Eve
to share a couple of layouts I have created with my new collection  Enchanted tea party.
Lots of fussy cutting with these layouts if that your thing then this collection is for you, If not don't fear plenty of other designs which will suit your style, and not to mention the beautiful dies. that match the collection

Here I have layered three dies over the top of the chip board
using foam tape to give height placed underneath the petals of the flowers

With this layout I have cut the chipboard in half and the dies on top as well and placed on either side of the photo
I have used a Anna Griffin Stencil as well as Anna Griffin Texture Paste on a lightly misted background  placed over the top is a selection of strips of papers this is a great way to utilize scrap papers as they all match just layer them in an uneven manor

The dies I have used are
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Ooh La La Ornate Entrance set
and Dusty Attic chipboard

hope this gives you some inspiration on how to play with this fun new collection

So I would like to wish a Merry Christmas, be safe and enjoy the holidays
thank you for dropping by

Days gone by

hello again
a very quick post following on from the last one
I had so much fun creating it I wanted to try contrasting bold colours this time
I decided to use a very old photo of the good old days when I had the opportunity to lay on the beach frequently

this was a real experiment with different mediums to get the effect I wanted I have embossed on the chipboard and used acrylic paint over the top, used textured paste and mica stuck to the card stock and some spray mist as well
I am loving the colours of this and the fact it is something a little different have a few pocket pages now to work on to match my layout
thanks for visiting

Delicate wave

Hello again
have been trying to get some of these projects up onto the blog for almost a fortnight now unfortunately storms and lack of Internet has slowed a lot of these tasks down
But finally we are here and will be able to share a few projects today and some more in the near future.
I have been playing with Texture paste I am not the best multi medium person, as I have always preferred structure, however I do like it thou, just sometimes it takes a few efforts for me to get the one I am happy with.
You never see what ends in the bin.
this particular layout I played with a sand texture paste actually like the effect achieved with it and the sprays over the top, the glare I could not eliminate is transparency stamp on with white pigment ink and lots of layers of Imaginarium chip board
this layout is a follow on from the others using the Sea Breeze Collection

I have used sprays distress paint and some gold ink on my chipboard and the texture paste as well was so much fun creating this layout
another couple of cards created in a class just recently

let your dreams set sail

Hello
A quick drop in to share a couple of pages I made a few weeks ago but wanted to do a photo shoot of more than one project so held off, now I am able to share these pages.
These are again of the wedding using  my Sea Breeze Collection from Couture Creations, I wanted to play around with mixed media, like texture paste and sprays, I am the first to admit it is hard for me but this was a great experiment with room for improvement, but the most important I had fun.
Note two or three attempts went in the bin.
