Bohemian Blue

Well not long now until 2018 starts for myself and my family it will be a big year for us
it will also be a year of turning 50 for my husband and brother and many friends
my page is a photo of my own 50th which actually was the inspiration be hind the Bohemian Bouquet Collection as my party was a themed party so now my birthday album has Bohemian featured through out
which leads me too this perfect mood board and challenge from Kraft plus.
It has been a very long time since I entered a challenge but the inspiration of a mood board was what I was looking for so here goes

I took a few step by step photos as well this time something I struggle to do but am trying to get into the habit of
The first photo I painted and sprayed the card stock, once dry I then stamped on it with white pigment ink, chalk ink and dye ink, like my previous posts I am favoring this little stamp from Bohemian Bouquet stamps

Getting the bits together I trimmed around the A4 die cuts so I had more craft showing through the image and to all of the layers for the dimension

This is my very own chipboard designed and cut by me.
I have sponged Gesso onto it with blue paint very thickly, once dry I added some texture paste for more dimension

And now to assemble my layout

The blue of the table in the mood board picture was my first focal point of inspiration then was the circles the colours of reds and pinks also was something that I wanted to bring into the layout, and finally I chose my photo because of the table inspiration
So one of many New Year plans for 2018 is to be challenged and join in the fun of such inspirations.

Wishing all a Happy and Safe New Year

My Favorite Technique

good evening from here in Adelaide I am throwing this post together very quickly as I should be going to bed, for a early start in the morning.
But I wanted to share these pages I have created on Acetate one of my favorite ways to create pages and depth
unfortunately I find that my photos never seem to capture how they look in a album with  the  pages.
I have hung them on a ladder outside to try and capture them on there own
I have used stencils and texture Paste both Anna Griffin from Couture Creations together with Bohemian Bouquet papers

This page of myself and my mum I used again texture paste and a stencil from the Bohemian Bouquet collection together with some paint and Blue staz-on for the stamping and white pigment ink stamped on the paint combined with my chipboard die cuts and some lovely paper flowers
I am very fond of how well the blue and white compliment each other

I apologize lack of clarity with my photos
thanks for visiting
goodnight

Bohemian Bouquet

I finally got the time to sit at the computer and blog. With the release of Bohemian Bouquet in the past month I have been very busy playing and creating projects, lots of pages  and a few cards. Mainly working on my 50th Birthday album pages.
This collection is such a versatile and colourful collection with lots of fantastic dies to work with foil stamps and stencils and chipboard, I have a favorite little stamp from flowers in your hair set, which is my go to stamp at the moment. Today I will share two pages I made using ink, water colour brush and the stamp.

here at the bottom I have used a  stencil and texture paste

my scroll is made from vellum I also placed foil on to my chipboard words
