Twas the day before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas
the table is set, ready for some sweet treats.
Ginger bread biscuits are iced, ready for eating
 The the tea is steeping,
whilst the cat lay sleeping.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her "kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

I am pleased to have the opportunity on Christmas Eve
to share a couple of layouts I have created with my new collection  Enchanted tea party.
Lots of fussy cutting with these layouts if that your thing then this collection is for you, If not don't fear plenty of other designs which will suit your style, and not to mention the beautiful dies. that match the collection

Here I have layered three dies over the top of the chip board
using foam tape to give height placed underneath the petals of the flowers

With this layout I have cut the chipboard in half and the dies on top as well and placed on either side of the photo
I have used a Anna Griffin Stencil as well as Anna Griffin Texture Paste on a lightly misted background  placed over the top is a selection of strips of papers this is a great way to utilize scrap papers as they all match just layer them in an uneven manor

The dies I have used are
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Ooh La La Ornate Entrance set
and Dusty Attic chipboard

hope this gives you some inspiration on how to play with this fun new collection

So I would like to wish a Merry Christmas, be safe and enjoy the holidays
thank you for dropping by

Beginning to look like Christmas

well normally about this time I'm saying noooooo not yet but having to think ahead has helped me get a little enthused about Christmas this year. It it is nice to change your decorations every year even if there is one addition to the collection, very soon all my cards will be Christmas ones for the countdown towards the 25th of  December.

this frame matches the two small previous ones, combined with my favorite Dusty Attic Chipboard clock and scroll edge.

The Fuzzy cutters delight

I made these at the beginning of the week after receiving my La Blanche stamp from Meg they are just awesomely beautiful, combined with the Papers from the Forget Me Not Collection complimenting them beautifully, will be looking to put them on everything if I could.

I have embossed the gate stamp with gold embossing powder, with  lots of fuzzy cutting of the papers from the Forget Me Not Collection

using this beautiful stamp again on a gate fold card the embossing just high lights this gorgeous stamp

Now for something in the shades of Pink from the Belle Jardin Collection, I started this frame weeks ago and then put it aside, finally finished it last Monday.

yes lots and lots of fuzzy cutting again, I glazed painted the cut flowers,  to give strength and texture, the chipboard is from Dusty Attic, now to find a place to hang it.
