Australiana 2

#deniseboddeydesigns
Hello I am back again to share some more projects using The Australiana collection.
My first page I wanted to create a background using some texture paste using a scroll stencil and a little gesso to look like waves once that was dry I sprayed some blue mist  pearl mist and a gold colour mist on the card stock.

I started to work out placement of my die cuts and pattern paper that was left after I cut the beach house out

I took away a die cut and added some more die cuts from the Sea breeze collection and some Christmas  die cuts absolutely no reason you cant use some of your Christmas dies all year round .

added some white and blue beads with the flowers and cheese cloth with some Imaginarium Chipboard

the paper used is
the dies used

now I would like to share a card

Australiana 1

Hello
today I am a guest on the Couture Creations blog sharing, some projects using, The Australiana Collection.
I am sure everyone is planning their Easter break activities by now so make sure you take lots of photos that you can scrap, this collection is perfect for that.
My first layout this photo was taken in a function centre in one of our local wineries this layout would be suitable with a photo of a garden shed or a tool shed as well.
I will admit to you my step by step may be sparse with not many steps as they are quite simple layouts
so here goes
the papers I have used here are

I have cut these pieces from the above papers as you can see some of the die cuts were cut from scraps because not all will be seen I have used a variety of dies even a favourite Christmas one

all of these pieces were arranged on this  paper  using left over pattern paper as my matting for my photo

my next layout
This photo was from the same Winery I often take a photo of my placement before finalizing my layout I do that as a referral to look back on as I adhere to my page
the paper I used here is

I have used a page from the colouring in book as well inked it up with some brown ink to give it a vintage look
embossed the the rectangle piece added a hint of white ink rubbed over the top to highlight the embossing

before adhering it all to the page I used a little bit of texture paste onto my card stock with a stencil to achieve a soft effect chipboard or die cuts would have the same appeal
all adhered down using either foam mounts or double sided tape

sorry no steps with this layout I was inspired by Carol Barron who had created a layout, which I fell in love with, so this is my version using a photo of my mum and Dad

A card  I created using the same papers

I will be back soon with some more projects using the Australiana Collection and I have also added a little bit of Sea Breeze with it as well
stay tuned
Thank you for visiting
