Project in the making

 Good Morning

Sitting here waiting for the warmer months to embrace us these last few days of winter just seem to be gloomy. I don't seem to get as much done as I would like it has been a slow process creating another A5 album, today I will share with you my progress. As well as a couple of distractions on the way and a possible new project waiting to happen.

I am in the process of creating Album and box kits this is two concepts you can make from the basic kit.

I am using Stamperia's papers here to create this album and box

with layers of my Ornaments chipboard creating dimension and interest as to what lays underneath.

the Album will feature Birdcage metal through out it to match the papers.

we have used the skeleton leaves small to create her crown

the book and box together

just another inspiration using my chipboard Box camera design and evolving it into a box my shutter mechanism is not perfect but that's ok  cant work on that over all like the concept.

May turn this into a junk journal box no paper is used here just chipboard and texture paste. combined with Nuvo Mouse and Finnaber's white wax all available on the Website deniseboddeydesigns.com/

A card concept which will be used in the Albums

stay tuned for the albums my works in progress

thanks

Altered Photo ring Album

Hello friends, Aya here I hope your day has been amazing ! Today’s project is an altered photo ring album.

I Measured the album ring and I cut the paper accordingly. For the centerpiece, I choose Deco doily the largest one and cover it with Finnabair wax in color electric violet to match my background paper. I added a clock die cut and adhered to the center of the deco doily. Finally, I added handmade flowers and leaves. For extra embellishments, I added glue glitter and gemstones.

A lovely floral Caddie

Happy Saturday everyone hope you all are well  and looking after yourselves today it is Leanne's turn again on the Blog with her  Decorated Caddie

I purchased this from my local hardware store. The pine caddie has been painted with an acrylic paint, allowed to dry and then sanded to reveal some of the pine before giving it a coat of matte varnish.

To decorate my caddie I firstly fussy cut an image from the A4 In My Garden Patch card topper sheet. The image was adhered to the front of the caddie with mod podge.

Next I embossed the Deco tab half circle with an embossing powder, before adhering it to the handle.

My dragonfly has been gilded with gold foil. I then added some distress ink, giving the dragonfly a tarnished look. Next I carefully shaped the wings before adhering it in place.

To finish I added lots of Blossom Tree Creations flowers, touches of glitter and some dots of liquid pearls. I also punched out some small flowers, leaves & butterflies.

you can find more pictures of Leanne's beautiful Caddie on her
