let your dreams set sail

Hello
A quick drop in to share a couple of pages I made a few weeks ago but wanted to do a photo shoot of more than one project so held off, now I am able to share these pages.
These are again of the wedding using  my Sea Breeze Collection from Couture Creations, I wanted to play around with mixed media, like texture paste and sprays, I am the first to admit it is hard for me but this was a great experiment with room for improvement, but the most important I had fun.
Note two or three attempts went in the bin.

Days gone bye

Today again I am to be a guest designer on Couture Creations Blog,
how quick has this year gone for us I should be sharing a Christmas in July card instead I thought I would share some Vintage classics today.
This is a photo of my Grandma at Port Noarlunga beach about 1929 which is not far from whereabouts we live ironically back then would of been quite a trip up the hill.
I wanted to show how the Sea Breeze can be Versatile with your vintage photos or even Male cards.

My Grandma is centre back of this image, what I think is funny about this photo that most of the ladies are in their bathers and the men have suits on
Its a great photo everything about it.

Because I only had one photo I have created the matching page with the image from the Ephemera Set not my Grandma although she was just as lovely.

Just a few cards I have created for classes in June using Acetate again, and The Sea Breeze papers and Dies.

I think you will agree the Sea Breeze can suit either Male or Female layouts or cards my next task will to create a male card to share with you
thanks for visiting

Bridesmaids

Today I am excited to be a guest designer on the Couture Creations blog.
Before showing you my pages I have to apologise and make some excuses about my tardiness towards my blog.
Although it may look like I am not creating rest assured I am, unfortunately they just have to stay hidden for awhile, which I find extremely frustrating, because I just want to share.
So now I have teased you just a little, I will share with you the ones I can.
I am still working on my daughter's friends Wedding using pocket pages as well as a layout.
I have not done any step by steps but have provided a lot of photos to inspire you.

In this layout I have used Imaginarium chipboard painted dark blue and two of my Sea Breeze dies
Cardinal Frame and Sandy Border  along with the Sea Breeze papers

Now we venture into the pocket pages,
which I find hard to photograph but I believe you will get a reasonable idea of the way it is sitting. In the top part of the sleeve I again have used Couture Creations Acetate 12 x 12 cut into 12 x 6 inches.

On my  3 brass pieces they have been painted with a Metallique Acrylique paint (Aqua), once it was dry I then painted over it with the navy paint and wiped off excess with baby wipes to highlight the underneath paint.

And some more pockets

hope you liked my pages I still have some more lovely photos of the Wedding ones with the beautiful bride to work on, so stay tuned.
All the papers that I have used are from my Sea Breeze collection from Couture Creations as well, as the Acetate
 Chipboard and brass from Imaginarium.
Thanks for dropping by
