Texture

I am doing this as a scheduled post for Sunday morning, I am sitting here yawning heavily, its been a very long day and am ready to go to bed
Today my daughter competed in her state Championship and I am a proud Mum not of only the way she danced but how graceful she is. This is her 15th year of Irish Dancing as she started just before she turned five, I did not think she would continue dancing for this long as she has battled injuries and broken bones all for the love of dance I often wonder why she continues to put herself threw this pain and sometimes disappointment, so now as this day has past she will now work towards the Australian Championships

All the Celtic knot work she designed herself
Well onto my card for this weeks challenge at Magnolia down Under, we would like you to add texture I chose to emboss as I agonized over some other concepts this is what worked for me.
the concept of my card is not my own I found it over at Debbie's blog

I love this concept and will be making more of these cards
well off to bed now
Don't forget to drop on over to Magnolia down Under and check out everyone Else's beautiful cards
have a great week  ahead.

Beautiful Mushrooms

A knew Challenge at TOMIC this week is Re-Cycle, what can I recycle that is not in the recycle bin already? Taking inspiration from Kylie I took out a nearly empty packet from the cupboard and will have the last soup for lunch today. I glued the packet label side together and run it threw the big shot and cut out the birdcage or in this case its a butterfly cage

.

inked it up and sprayed it with glimmer mist

I wanted my mushrooms to match the knew paper range Travel
I would also like to enter this card into stamp with fun Challenge summer
and copic creations use blue green

Great Finds

The past two weekends we have been blessed with a little bit of sunshine. My husband and I took a lovely coastal drive to the port markets and the following weekend with my Mum and Brother visited a local market looking for somewhere to sell my cards on the way home we came across a second hand shop.
After fossicing around for a while, was just about to leave when I came across another great find, am very pleased with my little treasures.

set of three bowls I couldn't resist as I collect Burgundy and white China
Early 20th century Kodak Pocket camera.... don't you love technology. What fascinates me is the combination of simplicity and intricacy

Rock around the Clock

My clock is inspired by the old song from Bill Haley and the Comets it was a old song when I was growing up but just loved it.Whilst at the fair on the weekend Jane Tregenza had a display on altered records which just got my creative thoughts a going. Thought it would fit well for this weeks challenge at Magnolia down Under
be inspired by a song.
so popped into a second hand shop and bought this old record for a dollar didn't originally plan to make it into a clock.

You have to go and check out all the cards at MDUC, its fascinating what everyone comes up with
well have a great week ahead.

Charlotte asked me to come up with a make and take eventually I was happy with my result a tag, After creating all my other displays, I was feeling a little burnt out and knew I had to have this finished by Wednesday because I had a couple of long shifts at work coming up, finally we are now all set and excited for Sunday
Here is some examples of  my display, will be able to post later our stall how it looks
