Large Dome

hello again
just dropping on by to show you my large
Domes I have made  the first one with my Enchanted Tea Party collection.
Yes there is a lot of fussy cutting, I sit on the couch at night time and cut I actually find it relaxing especially when too tied for anything else.
I believe I could still add to my project I have some trinkets waiting but just need the rings to hook them on to the trees
and maybe I could add a few more flowers

I felt The Enchanted Tea Party lent itself to such a project and was completely enjoyable to create.
Yesterday I completely forgotten about this little beauty it was hidden behind something
so I have just shared it in this way
click  and it will take you to a post little dome
now for my first large dome all the chipboard is Imaginarium as this whole base was specially designed for the dome measurements

well I believe this is enough domes for me for a while maybe,  I actually have one without anything in it so, I might have to make something a bit later on with another collection
until then
thank for visiting

Dome world

Happy New Year
already a month has past and we have a lot to look forward too in this coming year.
I have been busy cutting out from The Enchanted Tea Party papers, but before I show you my latest creation I thought I would take a walk down memory lane
just recently I have had two domes come home for a temporary stay until their new location or home gets built. Which is now making it a dome city.
so thought I would put them together and take some pictures leading up to my new creation

this was my very first  dome I think maybe six years ago 2011 wow  back then I couldn't actually find a dome so I used a vase and turned it up side down carefully hidden with paper flowers and a ribbon I stamped on it as well with white Staz-on ink

the small vase
and a terocotta saucer

Using Imaginarium chipboard created in 2013 and inspired from Jane Tregenza
I have realized I have not taken enough photos of this one so with mynext post I will share both

this was not made to go in a dome but it fits so why not
this was featured in a Scrapbooking magazine

teracotta base again for dome to sit on

my mum found me some beautiful glass cake stands from the second hand shop

Cloche/Domes are such a beautifully elegant piece of glass I also have one sitting over two old cameras they are not just to keep and protect off the page projects I believe they are also used in gardens
I will take some more photos and share soon
thank for visiting

Tis the Season to be Jolly

Hello again hope every one had a lovely Christmas
and are ready to celebrate the New Year with style.
So many exciting things to look forward too in the New Year.
Today I am pleased to share, what I have created with my new collection
Enchanted Tea Party, a layout and a card.
Again lots of fussy cutting with this layout and die cutting as well, my two favorite things, layered around a piece of Imaginarium Chipboard.

The dies I have used for the page are
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Ooh La La Ornate Entrance set

I have used paper from  the 6x6 paper pad for this card layered with these dies
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Invitation set
 Enchanted Tea Party bouquet

I have used Couture creations Delicate Medlar card stock for this card it is a versatile colour
I have inked a little around the edge of the tea pot  and the tags
placed a piece of foam tape in the center of the pot for dimension.
Cut two of the bouquet from delicate medlar and one in ivory.
A rather quick and simple card

Hope this has given you some more inspiration to use this cheerful collection

Would like to wish everyone a Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year.

Twas the day before Christmas

Twas the day before Christmas
the table is set, ready for some sweet treats.
Ginger bread biscuits are iced, ready for eating
 The the tea is steeping,
whilst the cat lay sleeping.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her "kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

I am pleased to have the opportunity on Christmas Eve
to share a couple of layouts I have created with my new collection  Enchanted tea party.
Lots of fussy cutting with these layouts if that your thing then this collection is for you, If not don't fear plenty of other designs which will suit your style, and not to mention the beautiful dies. that match the collection

Here I have layered three dies over the top of the chip board
using foam tape to give height placed underneath the petals of the flowers

With this layout I have cut the chipboard in half and the dies on top as well and placed on either side of the photo
I have used a Anna Griffin Stencil as well as Anna Griffin Texture Paste on a lightly misted background  placed over the top is a selection of strips of papers this is a great way to utilize scrap papers as they all match just layer them in an uneven manor

The dies I have used are
Enchanted Tea Party Adventure time tag
 Enchanted Tea Party Doily set
Ooh La La Ornate Entrance set
and Dusty Attic chipboard

hope this gives you some inspiration on how to play with this fun new collection

So I would like to wish a Merry Christmas, be safe and enjoy the holidays
thank you for dropping by
