Just a quick hello

Thought it was about time I posted something on my blog it has been so neglected of late.
Finding myself not achieving as fast now days more like slow and steady to the finish line.
For my Birthday this year I received a photo tent I have been experimenting with it and my camera settings as we are coming into winter very soon and the days will be gloomy I am thinking this will help me a lot once I get it right. So here are some photos I have taken of my last creations, Using papers from Meg's Garden  the Damask Garden Collection.

These are projects which have been taught in class

This card will be taught in a June class I have played with B Line stamps they go very well with my papers

A card class I taught today

Some Cards

Today I have been over at Imaginarium  sharing a gate fold card and an easel card as well.
I used my favorite die as well as chipboard  when you get a knew toy you have a tendency to use it until you get a knew toy.

I have used my exciting knew Damask Garden collection from Meg's Garden
am having so much fun working with this collection
very beautiful

blue on blue

Well what a rush for the Scrap tournament I gave up all hope but because of the time frame turned out I still had some hours up my sleeve the challenge was Monochromatic I thought yes this is me but no white or black and that was what I found the hardest

I have used papers from the Damask Garden Collection over at Meg's Garden
with lots of lovely die cuts and punched flowers
If I wasn't so rushed I think I would have enjoyed this Challenge a little more but however am pleased with the end result

A bit of Art Deco

good morning over here its very early thought I would get a chance to post before I get ready for work.
This morning I thought I would share a card and a layout both using the same design of Imaginarium chipboard but used in different ways, am loving how well this chipboard can work into your designs

 very art deco

same design used as a border

the end was cut off  and tucked it in underneath the cardstock which gave some dimension

well off to start my day, but I think it may take one more coffee
still feeling half asleep

Within a 1000 steps from home

Hi my photos are about lets say 600 steps from home I counted 200 to the end of the street with difficulty kept losing count
This is of one of our local parks or walk way I took this photo at 8'0clock in the morning the temperature had already reached 33 degrees as we where expecting a high of 40 that day we are in the middle of our summer which is very extreme with two heat waves of over 40 degrees with maybe more to come
my 3 photos are of the same tree with depth of field
My papers are from Meg's Garden
this is my take on the first challenge of The supreme Scrap Tournament a "within a 1000 steps from your home "

I stressed a little about this but am happy with the end result fingers crossed I make it to the next round
