A place to be
I have been playing with a concept inspired by something I created last year but on a smaller scale.
I thought it would make a great idea to teach at class, so with out giving too much away I would like to share a sneak look.
When I am not creating inside I can be found out side in my garden unfortunately this time of year after the heat, my garden starts to look a little on the dry side, but I still like to spend time out there pottering around.

Ode to Summer
Ode to summer
Very excited to now be able to showcase the new collection over at Meg's Garden.
Here in Australia we are in the middle of Summer, long hot days, warm barmy nights, as a child growing up the summer was buckets and baskets of fruit which my mother jammed and preserved for at least a good part of January, for us to enjoy all year round. I too tried to keep up the tradition when my children were young, unfortunately we no longer have our fruit trees in the backyard, but still proudly have the jam pot which has been passed down in my cupboard hopefully one day I will be able to grow again an Apricot tree and continue the Jam tradition.
My photo I must tell you was taken on a 40 degree day here in Adelaide,

Tools down
Sometimes you just cant ignore whats going on around you whilst you create, defeat was declared and tools down. Just cant keep your head in the sand as much as you would like to this time of year. was I prepared for it Nooooo so as usual the mad rush to Christmas began numerous shopping hours trying to find the right present combined with some weddings and a Funeral, social engagements, and a garden looking well over grown from its Spring delight. What chance did I have to create very slim in dead.
However I did achieve to create some cards for this months class's at Seriously Scrapbooking
so here's our start to the New Year this Saturday's class looking forward to it.
