labels for Dreaming

Well another challenge to enter, this one is over at Cardabilities this time.
Sketch 79 is my inspiration and I have used Labels for Dreaming

My Baby Girl

I had so much fun creating this page of my daughter,  born 22 years ago at 1 week old
I would eventually like to create a double page, using a similar layout.
When I saw the sketch and the Mood Board over at Scrap around the world I knew straight away it would be perfect for my photo's.

I loved the softness and elements which I hopefully have captured
I have used gesso and modeling paste on the edge of the page, which is something I never do how nice it is to step outside of your comfort zone. Combined with papers Dreaming in Rose and Labels for Dreaming with Cottage Cut, Leafy Foliage Die from Meg's Garden
The chipboard is from Imaginarium which has helped make my page light and delicate, the clock is a Graphic 45 stamp and die cut, my scroll is vellum which is hand embossed.

I will enter this layout in the monthly challenge over at Scrap Around the World

scrolls and lace

Hi all
well cant believe its the middle of the year already how time flies
I have a layout and some cards to share with you

A men's card just recently taught at Seriously Scrapbooking using our new collection Top hat and Auto Mobiles

I had so much fun creating this page of myself and my husband lots of cutting out,  the border is hand embossed and pierced, using parchment tools. the Chipboard scroll has been heat embossed for the words I have used a heat and stick powder then dipped in glitter, very important to secure any glitter on a scrappy page. I have used from our New collection Dreaming in the Meadows, Dreaming in Duck egg Blue and Dreaming in willows.

this card has been recently taught at seriously Scrapbooking as well, the card base is acetate painted and stamped on
