Summers Dream

I finished this a couple of days ago I finally got it up and posted
this little box was inspired by the box in the latest Magnolia Magazine page 27 created by Kianel and my latest craze for Acetate

to put in the box I have made a card in the step easel design

Tilda is hanging on her swing in the cut out section of the Easel section the photo does not show it very well
The papers are from the Couture Collection having so much fun working with my new papers very happy with there versatility.
I would like to enter this in challenge 3 of  TOMIC   Summer

Transparency

Very excited to share these cards with you
over at MDUC this weeks Challenge 101 is use some transparency, now that can be Acetate or a ink jet transparency. What is the difference you ask and I find there is some confusion Acetate is thicker and if you want to stamp on it the best ink to use is Staz-on, Ink jet transparency you can put through the printer and you can stamp on it with pigment, and chalk ink you can even use a gel pen to draw on it.
This card I have used both

This card is a Shaker card and it has Acetate on both sides of the shaker and boy did this give me some grief this was given to my Sister-in law yesterday for her birthday
I have stamped on it using a B line Stamp it looks a little like the Gelatin, used.

A monster has merged I just couldn't stop there so I created two more cards

I will do a class on this in the Spring News letter at Charlotte's except for the Shaker card may have to convince me on that one So I am back on a Transparency Journey I used to use it a lot in my Scrap booking years ago will have to hunt down a photo and post it
Well off to do some more crafting drop on over to Magnolia Down Under and be inspired to enter this weeks challenge

Friends

Charlotte took these lovely photo's at the last fair we had at Marion Leisure Center love them, as soon as I saw them. Our Fairs are always a great day spending them with Kindred Spirits and lots of laughter and I would like to think they represent that.

Have used the papers from the Couture Collection lots of cutting and using the strips that come with the papers.
The chip board scrolls are from Dusty Attic and the stamping on Acetate is from B Line

Chalenge 99

Good morning a new challenge over at Magnolia down under
Purple Peach and Cream
I had some trouble getting a peach colour is more like an apricot so I wish you good luck with this challenge I am sure you could do a better job with peach than me, so hop on over and have a look at all the other amazing cards from our talented design team .
Have been very busy in the past couple of weeks trying to finish my study and  my cards for my up and coming class's, I have also made a start on a new collection, am very excited as to whats happening down the track looking forward to being able to share it.

My card is a Easel card just added some folds in the base think this works well

Have recently been infatuated with steampunk couldn't understand why because it isn't really my style but I think its the love of things old I just recently purchased a 1930's desk fan which is in the background it needs a little TLC which it is getting, will show you when its finished.  If you are wondering what stamp this is that goes so well with my up and coming paper range due out in September (Tickled Pink Stamps)

The love of old and new combined
wishing you a good week ahead.
